As a Programmer Analyst was responsible for design and
development of Active-X DLL (essentially a COM object), modifying Hideout MS Excel
spreadsheet, which involved VBA programming and partly involved in modifying existing PPM
code. COM object provides setting of SI units, date, number and currency formats and
stores in registry. This COM object was used in PPM and Hideout MS Excel spread sheet and
will be used in all of EPRI products to provide globalization of EPRI products. PPM is a
system that provides functionality for various tests for fuels as well as their burning
conditions in various plants. The initial settings are provided by setup, which maintains
and validates Fuel Costs & Fuel Characteristics depending on the currency and SI units
selected. Fuel costs screen allows the user to add and validate various fuels costs. Fuel
emission module maintains emissions for the specified fuels. Fuel characteristics module
provides and maintains characteristics of fuel with emissions as well as SI Units. Hideout
MS Excel spreadsheet was used to determine Molar Ratio Indicator for Sodium, Potassium,
Manganese, Fluoride, Chloride, Nitrite etc.

As a Programmer Analyst was responsible for design and
development of Error Handler, to develop error handler add-in (adds error handling code to
every module), debugging existing code and adding functionality to transfers sub module of
Accounts Payable module. Error handler object was created in each module and acted like
central Error logging device for every module. Error handling code was inserted in every
procedure, function and property of a module by the add-in. Fundware 7.0 involved
re-engineering from a Cobol legacy system to MS Visual Basic 5.0 of an accounts payable
module of an Accounting product. This accounting package had multiple modules like General
Ledger, Payroll etc. The re-engineered application had a 3-tier design, using COM, and is
developed using OOPS techniques. Active-X DLLs and Active-X controls were used for
developing each sub module in Active-X doc object. I had worked extensively on Transfers
sub module in Accounts Payable.

As a Programmer Analyst was responsible for performance optimization and
tuning of DB Queries, stored procedures, and designing and developing of Active X
controls. Was also responsible for establishing connectivity with SQL Server using RDO.
Coordinated with database team to optimize the performance of the queries and reports. The
product assist marketing is a support system for the marketing, technical &
manufacturing department of CMS computers. The feature of this package includes entry and
maintenance of price lists quotations, enquiry, purchase orders, complaints, daily call
report, account details and market information. This package provides user defined alerts,
for outstanding balances, account mishandling, support mishandling and complaints. Reports
included DCR/ENQ handling of marketing personnel, Report of DCR of support personnel,
report of customer order booking, order value, delivery time, expense incurred, follow
through and BDF & CDF.

Logistic System Network
As a Programmer Analyst was responsible for designing and
development of various user interfaces. Design of table structure of database and
establishing connectivity with Oracle using RDO. The package Logistic System Network is a
support system for the dealers and company branch offices for a domestic LPG supplier. The
project features balanced delivery and routing system of LPG in accordance with inventory
and demand & supply. The system maintains a customer database handles order booking,
invoice printing, and complaints for dealers / company branch offices. Reports consists of
number of enquries received, order booking, complaints response for customers. The system
also features preparation of appraisal reports for dealers / branch office with respect to
their performance in form of chart and standard ratios at corporate head office and effect
of marketing campaign and enquries received and order booked.

As a Programmer Analyst was responsible for designing and development of
table structure for the database and user interface. The product assists income tax
officials for tracking people who dont file income tax returns. The data is
collected from various sources like telephone department, insurance companies, municipal
corporations and customs. The data is then marched with the existing database to get a
list of suspects. This system then assigns these suspects to various officials to conduct
investigation. Reports include suspect list, action taken report, source data report,
defaulter report and differential income tax report.

As a Programmer Analyst was responsible for designing and
development of advertisement flash window for the product. This project provides the list
of suppliers of products and services for five metros. The database consists of details
about the vendor of various product and services. The database was indexed on metros
product / service and alphabetically. Customers who wants a specific product / service.
The system was capable of producing letters to suppliers in text format. Screen has an
advertisement flash window on which various advertisements were flashed.
